This policy explains what personal data Smart Money collects when you use smartmoney.pk, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, mobile number, city and profession, given when you register or edit your profile.
- Billing records: orders, the plans or batches bought, amounts, payment method, transaction reference and the payment receipt you upload, plus invoices issued to you.
- Learning records: course enrollments, lesson progress, quiz attempts and certificates.
- Messages: what you send us through the contact form, email or WhatsApp.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, pages visited, and login times, recorded in server logs for security and troubleshooting.
We do not collect card numbers or your broker or bank login details.
How we use it
- To run your account, decide which content you can access in each market, and deliver courses.
- To confirm payments, issue invoices and keep financial records required by law.
- To send service emails: verification, payment confirmations, subscription reminders and course updates.
- To answer your questions and improve the Service, and to prevent fraud and account sharing.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers who help us run the Service — hosting, email delivery and video hosting for course lessons — under confidentiality obligations, and with authorities where the law requires. Certificates show the student name and course to anyone who checks the certificate code.
Cookies and storage
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and a security token to protect forms. Your light or dark theme choice is stored in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.
Retention and security
Account data is kept while your account is open. Billing records and invoices are kept for as long as tax law requires, even after you close your account. Payment receipts and course files are stored privately and are never publicly accessible. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes and all traffic uses HTTPS.
Your choices and rights
You can update your details or delete your account from your profile at any time. You may ask us for a copy of your data or for corrections by contacting us. Deleting an account ends access to any remaining subscription or course period.
