Please read this before acting on anything published by Smart Money. By using smartmoney.pk, our emails, groups or courses you acknowledge the points below.
Not investment advice
Smart Money publishes general market research, trading ideas and education. Nothing we publish is a personal recommendation, an offer to buy or sell any security, or investment, legal or tax advice. Our content does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Where appropriate, consult a licensed adviser or your broker before investing.
Smart Money is not a broker and does not hold, manage or trade money on behalf of members. We never ask for your trading account login, and we never offer managed accounts or guaranteed-profit schemes. Anyone claiming to do so in our name is not us.
Risk of loss
Trading and investing in stocks, foreign exchange, commodities, indices and crypto-assets involves substantial risk. You can lose some or all of the money you invest. Leveraged products — margin trading, futures, CFDs and forex — can produce losses larger than your deposit. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
About signals and levels
- Entry, stop loss and target levels are reference points written at the time of publication. Markets can gap through them, so fills may differ and stops may slip.
- A signal may be closed early, updated or invalidated. Always check the current status on the signal page.
- Position size is your decision. We do not know your capital or risk tolerance.
- Timeframes ("Daily", "H4", "Position") describe the analysis horizon, not a promise of when a target will be reached.
Track record
Win rate and average return are calculated automatically from every closed signal: a signal counts as a win when its result from entry to exit is positive. Results are simple percentage moves on the instrument; they ignore commissions, taxes, spreads, slippage and position sizing, and they do not represent the return of any real account. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
Market-specific risks
Pakistan Stock Exchange
PSX securities can be affected by circuit breakers, low liquidity in smaller companies, sudden policy or regulatory changes, and corporate actions. Short-selling ideas apply only where the instrument and your broker allow it.
Global markets
Forex, commodities and indices trade around the clock and react to events outside Pakistan market hours. Crypto-assets are highly volatile and largely unregulated. Make sure dealing in a product is lawful for you in your jurisdiction, including under State Bank of Pakistan foreign-exchange rules.
