A bull pennant is a sharp rise followed by a small symmetrical triangle; a break above it usually continues the rise.

How the bull pennant works
Like a bull flag, but the pause takes the shape of a small converging triangle rather than a channel.
It is short-lived: pennants usually resolve within a few weeks on daily charts, or a few sessions on intraday charts.
